Lov um namnebyte for byen Kristiania

§ 1. Namnet paa den byen som no heiter Kristiania (Christiania), skal fraa 1 januar 1925 vera Oslo.
§ 2. Fraa den tid denne lovi er utferda og til 1 januar 1926, maa ingen taka i bruk namnet Oslo i eit firma, naar han ikkje vilde havt rett til aa bruka namnet Kristiania (Christiania) i eit firma, som ellest lyder likt.
§ 3. Denne lovi tek til aa gjelda straks.

Act concerning the change of the name of the city of Kristiania
§ 1. The name of the city currently called Kristiania (Christiania), shall from 1 January 1925 be Oslo.
§ 2. From the time this act is passed and until 1 January 1926, no-one must use the name Oslo in a company [name], if he would have no right to use the name Kristiania (Christiania) in a company [name], which otherwise remains identical.
§ 3. This act comes into force immediately.
