Hs. Kongelige Majestæts Meddelelse til den Norske Regjering om, at Hendes Kongelige Høihed Kronprindsessen samme Dag lykkelig er bleven forløst med en Prinds, som i den hellige Daab skal erholde Navnet Oscar Fredrik Wilhelm Olaf Gustav Adolf, og som bliver at indbefatte i Kirkebønnen for H.M. Kongen og det Kongelige Hus.

Royal Announcement concerning the Birth of a Prince, who in the Baptism is to obtain the Name Oscar Fredrik Wilhelm Olaf Gustav Adolf

His Royal Majesty's Announcement to the Norwegian Government of [the news that] Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess the same Day is happily delivered of a Prince, who in the holy Baptism is to obtain the Name Oscar Fredrik Wilhelm Olaf Gustav Adolf, and is to be included in the Church Prayer for H.M. The King and the Royal House.

Comment

HRH Prince Gustaf Adolf of Sweden and Norway ceased to be a Prince of Norway at the day of his grandfather King Oscar II's abdication on 26 October 1905. He succeeded to the throne of Sweden as King Gustaf VI Adolf in 1950.
